Cleobury Mortimer 10K
7th July at 10 am
For the second year running, Cleobury Mortimer Running Club (CMRC) is proud to host the Cleobury Mortimer 10K race around the beautiful Shropshire town of Cleobury Mortimer.
The race follows the same route as last year, starting in Cleobury's historic market town before heading out on the undulating Shropshire country lanes then returning up the now infamous 'Ron Hill' and through the well supported residential streets for a final victory lap to the cheering crowds.
Our race for 2019 includes all this:
One of the best supported local races anywhere! - last year all our club members supported the race with over 40 marshal points cheering runners on.
Fully road closed - no danger of dodging around oncoming cars
Exclusive finishers medal for all racers - a well earned reward for conquering the route
Finishers goody bag filled with great goodies from our sponsors and supporters - for that all important post-race refuel
Professional race photography provided by Berbezier Photography with free high quality downloads - so you can prove to all your non running friends how much fun a 10K race is
Fully chip timed with free instant timing print out - for all those runners that forget to start their Garmin’s or accidentally delete their run on Strava
A fantastically fun day out - organised by runners that have been to few races and know all the best bits
As a club we we have chosen to support the Dementia Friends programme from the Alzheimer’s Society in collaboration with Cleobury Mortimer's initiative to be a Dementia Friendly town.
Licenced under UK Athletics and runbritain
So.....are you ready to join us again...…

Cleobury 10k is a well organised, friendly and supportive event….
Having run the race last year as my first ever 10k, I couldn't have chosen a better race to start running….
Everything was well organised right from collecting your numbers to crossing the finish line with the medals and goodie bags…
I would highly recommend this 10k to anyone of all abilities because there is nothing like the sprirt of the small market town….
