The CMRC championship consists of a range of races, mostly local and low-cost, including local parkruns throughout the year.

Rules

The rules for the 2025 & 2026 season are as follows:

  • Only full members of CMRC will be included and CMRC must be your first claim club with England Athletics.

  • Please make sure you enter the race (or are registered with Parkrun) as a member of CMRC.

  • CMRC kit must be worn for the duration of each race.

  • For each race, the top finisher in each category will be awarded 10 points, 2nd finisher 9 points and so on with every eligible member earning a minimum of 2 points per race.

  • There will be five categories, with separate awards made for males and females; under 40, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over. Age is calculated on the date of the first race of the year (the Wyre Forest parkrun).

  • You can take part in as many or as few of the races as you like, but only your highest 6 scores will count.

  • Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category at the end of the year (usually at the Christmas party).
